The weather's blissfully warm, the positivety of summer is flowing around wonderfully, and amongst all the happiness and frivolity of summer we've been gifted the 3rd single from Bury Tomorrow's upcoming fifth album; The Age.
Instantly this song grips you tight and sweeps you away, the dream like lead of the intro come chorus helping to transcend the song to a heart-capturing visual of hope from the word go. It's a relatively short blast and has a lot contained in its brief 3 and half minutes, brimming with interesting and positive lyrics, like the album's namesake Black Flame it has a really positive energy and strong message. James Cameron's voice really comes to life in this, he's been a great vocalist for years now and solid as always, he's given a top performance.
Admittedly I don't think it alights us any more to the content of the album as a whole, but rather shows a continuation of message, albeit in a slightly different form. They've dropped another great song; powerfully animate, visually and audibly stirring and one not to be forgotten easily.
So while I did enjoy this and think it's strength bodes well for the album in its entirety, I'm keen to hear the depth within the rest of the album. When it comes to Bury Tomorrow I've often found their strongest songs are the weirder, more obscure of their work. I'll save my final verdict and tryyyyy not to get ahead of myself.

We don't have long to wait now, and I'm sure to be hot off the press with this album review.
